Summary
This study is testing whether EMDR therapy, commonly used for trauma, can help reduce the core symptoms of borderline personality disorder. Researchers will work with 56 adults diagnosed with BPD, some of whom also have PTSD. The goal is to see if this short-term therapy can improve emotional regulation and other challenging symptoms.
