First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether regular email check-ins can help people with gout reach and maintain safe urate levels, which can dissolve crystals and cure the disease. About 204 adults with gout will either get usual care or email-guided dose adjustments of urate-lowering medication. The goal is to see if the email approach leads to more patients achieving the target urate level.
