Summary
This completed Phase IIb trial tested an oral drug called elismetrep (K-304) in 431 adults with moderate or severe migraine. Participants received one of four doses of elismetrep or a placebo. The main goal was to see if the drug could make pain disappear within a set time. Secondary goals included relief from the most bothersome symptom, such as nausea or sensitivity to light or sound. The study was double-blind and placebo-controlled to ensure fair results.
