First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests the ELIOS laser, a less invasive tool for treating glaucoma during cataract surgery. The laser creates tiny channels to help drain fluid and lower eye pressure. Researchers will enroll 46 adults with both cataracts and open-angle glaucoma to see if the laser is safe and effective. The goal is to improve outcomes and reduce complications compared to traditional glaucoma surgery.
