Summary
This study looks at how electroacupuncture (a type of acupuncture with mild electric pulses) affects immune cells in people with shingles. Researchers will compare patients who get standard medication alone versus medication plus electroacupuncture. The goal is to understand if electroacupuncture helps relieve pain and reduce complications by changing immune responses. The study involves 8 participants and healthy volunteers for comparison.
