Needles vs. pain: new hope for endometriosis sufferers?
NCT ID NCT07305025
Summary
This study aims to see if a series of electroacupuncture treatments can reduce pelvic pain in women with suspected endometriosis. Thirty-eight women scheduled for diagnostic surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either the acupuncture treatment or standard care. The goal is to measure changes in pain levels, quality of life, and medication use to see if this approach is a helpful alternative or addition to current treatments.
