Zapping away dry mouth: electrical therapy tested for cancer survivors

NCT ID NCT04805528

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive electrical stimulation therapy, similar to acupuncture, can help relieve dry mouth in people who had radiation treatment for head and neck cancer. Researchers want to see if this therapy improves quality of life for patients who suffer from this common side effect. The study involves 75 participants who will receive the therapy over 12 weeks.
