Zapping nerves back to life: new hope for regaining arm control after injury

NCT ID NCT06672458

Summary

This study is testing whether a therapy called functional electrical stimulation (FES) can help restore arm and hand function in people with spinal cord or peripheral nerve injuries. Researchers will use a device called MyndMove to deliver gentle electrical pulses to nerves and muscles, aiming to improve strength and the ability to perform daily tasks. The study will enroll 60 participants to see how this therapy affects the way the arms, brain, and spinal cord work together.
