Zap to the rescue? electrical stimulation tested for faster ACL recovery

NCT ID NCT07171346

Summary

This study is testing if adding a special type of electrical muscle stimulation to standard physical therapy helps people recover muscle strength better after ACL knee surgery. Researchers will compare muscle strength and symmetry between the injured and healthy leg in about 25 patients. One group will do standard rehab exercises, while the other will use the electrical stimulation device along with the exercises.
