Summary
This study tested whether a time-saving, joint-friendly electrical muscle stimulation suit could work as well as traditional resistance exercise for easing chronic low back pain. It involved 26 adults aged 40-70 with persistent back pain. Researchers compared pain levels and physical function after 10 weeks of either the electrical stimulation therapy or standard medical exercise training.
