Summary
This study aims to understand why older adults often experience confusion and other complications after surgery. Researchers will follow 1,200 patients aged 65 and over, collecting health information and samples before and after their operations. The goal is to identify risk factors and build a tool to predict which patients are most likely to have problems, to help doctors provide better care.
