Summary

This study tested whether a wearable robotic exoskeleton (Ekso) helps people who recently had a stroke improve their walking and balance during inpatient rehabilitation. Forty adults were randomly assigned to receive either standard physical therapy or therapy using the Ekso suit. Researchers measured walking speed, endurance, and balance to see if the robot-assisted training led to faster or greater improvements.
