Chicago hospital launches major study to unlock mysteries of rare digestive diseases

Summary

This study aims to build a large database and sample collection to learn more about a group of rare digestive diseases called eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders (EGIDs). Researchers will collect information from up to 500 patients about their symptoms, quality of life, and treatment responses during their standard medical care. The goal is to use this information to improve future treatments and understand how these diseases progress.
