Summary
This study follows 1,000 adults who took part in earlier EGEA surveys to explore whether asthma increases the risk of heart disease. Researchers will compare heart health markers, like the Framingham score and blood tests, between people with and without asthma. The goal is to understand if asthma itself causes heart problems or if shared factors like lifestyle or environment are to blame. Participants must have been in a prior EGEA survey and have health insurance.
