NCT ID NCT07331857

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This early study tests a new device that uses heat to remove abnormal cells in the esophagus of people with Barrett's esophagus, a condition that can lead to cancer. The study has two parts: first, a small group of people scheduled for esophagus removal surgery will help find the right dose; second, up to 15 people with Barrett's and low- or high-grade dysplasia will receive the treatment. The main goal is to check safety and see how well the device removes the abnormal tissue.
