Sticky science: new pain patch put to the adhesion test
NCT ID NCT07307794
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study is testing a new medicated patch (TK-254RX) that delivers the pain reliever esflurbiprofen through the skin. Researchers want to see how well the patch stays on over time in 90 healthy adults aged 18 to 64. They will also check for any side effects and measure how much medicine is left in the used patch. This is an early-stage (Phase 1) study, so it focuses on safety and performance, not on treating a disease.
