First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a simple tapping technique called EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) can help first-time mothers feel safer, less anxious, and have less pain after a planned C-section. Sixty women were split into two groups: one received EFT in the first 24 hours after surgery, and the other received standard care. The goal was to see if EFT could improve recovery and emotional well-being.
