First seen Jun 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at how different levels of pressure in the breathing machine (called PEEP) affect oxygen levels and lung health in 360 adults having non-chest, non-heart surgery. Participants will be grouped by surgery type, and their oxygen levels and lung ultrasound images will be checked after surgery. The goal is to find the best ventilator settings to prevent breathing problems after surgery.
