New anemia drug for dialysis patients enters final testing phase

Summary

This study tests a new drug called efepoetin alfa for treating anemia in adults with advanced chronic kidney disease who are on dialysis. About 429 participants will receive either the new drug or an existing one to compare safety and effectiveness. The main goal is to see if the new drug can keep hemoglobin levels stable without needing extra treatments.
