Summary
This study looked at whether a special brain monitor (4-channel EEG) can help doctors give just the right amount of sedation during a procedure called ERCP. 84 adults took part, and the goal was to see if using the monitor led to using less sedative medicine and helped patients wake up faster. The approach was to keep the brain in an optimal sedation zone throughout the procedure.
