Brain wave study aims to spot Alzheimer's early
NCT ID NCT04954183
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether an EEG (a simple brain wave recording) can help diagnose Alzheimer's disease at different stages. Researchers collected EEG data from 29 people, including those with mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer's, dementia with Lewy bodies, and healthy volunteers. The goal was to see if brain wave patterns differ across these groups, which could lead to a new, non-invasive diagnostic tool.
