Brain waves could reveal who will benefit from depression treatment
NCT ID NCT05008198
Summary
This study aims to find brain scan patterns that predict whether veterans with hard-to-treat depression will respond to magnetic stimulation therapy. Researchers will use EEG brain scans taken before and during treatment to identify biomarkers that show who is likely to improve. The goal is to help match patients with treatments that work best for them, potentially reducing trial-and-error approaches.
