New dressing could speed healing of diabetic foot sores

NCT ID NCT07209358

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a special dressing called EDX110 to usual care helps diabetic foot ulcers heal better than usual care alone. About 298 adults with a non-healing foot ulcer will be randomly assigned to receive either the EDX110 dressing plus standard care, or standard care only. The main goal is to see if more ulcers close completely within 16 weeks with the new dressing.
