First seen Jun 14, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether a special education program could help people on dialysis manage their severe itching and improve their quality of life. 104 adults with kidney failure and chronic itching took part. Some received two face-to-face teaching sessions with a booklet, while others got standard care. The goal was to see if the education reduced itch severity and improved daily living.
