ERs test On-Spot physical therapy to fight back pain and opioid use

Summary
This study is testing if having a physical therapist right in the emergency department (ER) helps people who come in with sudden, severe low back pain. At two major hospitals, one ER will have a therapist start care immediately, while the other uses standard care. The main goal is to see if this new setup is practical to run, and if it can help reduce pain and the need for strong painkillers like opioids.
