Emergency rooms could become unexpected hubs for cancer screening

NCT ID NCT07345897

Summary

This study is testing if offering a simple, at-home style HPV test during an emergency room visit can help more people get screened for cervical cancer. It will enroll about 200 women and transgender/non-binary individuals with a cervix, aged 30-65, who are overdue for screening. The main goal is to see if people offered the test in the ER will actually complete the screening process.
