ER trial aims to stop asthma patients from coming back

NCT ID NCT07166939

Summary

This study aims to see if giving a specific inhaler called Airsupra to adults when they leave the emergency room (ER) for an asthma attack helps prevent them from having another attack and needing urgent care within the next 3 months. It will compare this approach to the usual care patients receive. About 1,860 adults who visit the ER for an asthma attack will participate across 30 hospitals.
