NCT ID NCT07374289

First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving a special life-support machine (ECMO) right at the place where someone's heart stops can help them survive and recover better. About 90 adults whose hearts stop suddenly and who get CPR from bystanders will be included. The goal is to see if starting ECMO on the scene shortens the time without blood flow and improves survival and brain function compared to waiting until they reach the hospital.
