Summary
This study aims to check if common hospital devices that monitor heart function and blood flow give accurate readings for patients on a life support machine called VA ECMO. Researchers will test 30 adult patients on this machine by comparing measurements from different devices during simple tests, like leg raising. The goal is to find the most reliable way to monitor these critically ill patients to help guide their fluid and medication treatments.
