Doctors test which monitors work best on life support machines
NCT ID NCT06593717
Summary
This study aims to check how well different medical devices measure a patient's blood flow and fluid needs while they are on a special life support machine called ECMO. Researchers will test 30 adult patients in intensive care who are on ECMO for severe lung failure. They will compare several common monitoring techniques to see which ones give the most accurate readings during this complex treatment.
