First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at 200 women with eclampsia to see if giving magnesium sulphate into a vein (IV) or into a muscle (IM) works better to stop seizures from coming back. Women were randomly assigned to one of the two methods and monitored for 24 hours after their last seizure or delivery. The goal is to find the most effective way to control seizures in this serious pregnancy condition.
