Race to stop repeat seizures: IV vs. shot in the arm
NCT ID NCT06997575
Summary
This study tested whether giving magnesium sulfate medicine through an IV drip or as a shot in the muscle works better to prevent repeat seizures in women with eclampsia, a serious pregnancy complication. Researchers compared the two methods in 200 women to see which one led to fewer repeat seizures. The goal was to find the most effective way to control this dangerous condition during and after delivery.
