Study tests if 'Easier' cycling builds more muscle and fitness
NCT ID NCT07189975
Summary
This study aimed to find out if a less strenuous type of cycling, called eccentric cycling, could improve fitness and strength as well as or better than regular cycling for people who don't exercise much. Researchers compared three different 12-week training programs in 43 healthy but sedentary adults. They measured changes in fitness, strength, and how hard the workouts felt to see which method was most effective.
