Summary
This study tests if eccentric resistance training (a type of exercise that focuses on lengthening muscles) can improve heart function and exercise ability in people with chronic heart failure. About 84 adults with stable heart failure will be assigned to either eccentric training or standard aerobic and resistance training for 12 weeks. The goal is to see which approach better helps the heart pump and improves how far patients can walk.
