New cell therapy targets EBV after transplant: early trial shows promise

Summary

This study is for people who have had a stem cell transplant and later develop a high level of EBV virus in their blood. The treatment uses special immune cells (EBV-AST cells) to fight the virus. The main goals are to find the safest dose and see if it can clear the virus. About 18 adults will take part.
