First seen May 15, 2026 ยท Last updated May 15, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a high-calorie, high-protein nutritional drink with added immune-supporting nutrients can lower the risk of serious side effects in people with advanced gastrointestinal cancers receiving their first systemic treatment. About 88 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the special drink plus nutritional counseling or standard care. The main goal is to see if the drink reduces the number of severe side effects.
