First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests a new way to use blood thinners after a heart attack. The goal is to lower the risk of serious bleeding while still preventing another heart attack or stroke. About 2,300 adults who had a heart attack and received a stent will take part. Half will get a reduced dose of ticagrelor and stop aspirin early, while the other half will follow the standard treatment plan.
