Could a simpler treatment schedule ease the burden for myeloma patients?
NCT ID NCT06348147
Summary
This study is testing if a standard four-drug treatment for multiple myeloma works just as well when given on a simpler, once-a-week schedule instead of twice a week. It involves 39 adults newly diagnosed with multiple myeloma who are eligible for a stem cell transplant. The main goal is to see if the easier schedule is as effective at reducing cancer cells to undetectable levels while potentially being less taxing for patients.
