New lung scan lets patients breathe easy
NCT ID NCT07489950
Summary
This study tested a new, easier way to measure blood flow in the lungs of patients who are breathing on their own with oxygen support. Instead of requiring patients to hold their breath, the new method takes measurements during normal breathing. Researchers compared the new method to the standard breath-hold technique in 24 stable adult patients to see if it gives equally accurate results.
