First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looked at 144 people who had facial skin surgery for benign growths like moles or cysts. Half had their bandage removed 6 hours after surgery, while the other half kept it covered for about 7 days. The goal was to see which method led to less swelling, redness, and scarring. Results will help doctors choose the best wound care for future patients.
