Summary
This trial compares two approaches to premolar extraction during braces treatment: removing teeth early (before or within a week of getting braces) versus later (after teeth are aligned, just before closing gaps). The goal is to see if extraction timing affects how quickly the front teeth move back to close the gaps. Participants aged 13–25 with Class I or II malocclusion will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups, and their tooth movement will be tracked over six months using 3D scans. The study also looks at gum health, pain, and anxiety related to the procedure.
