New study aims to stop mild brain injuries from becoming Long-Term problems
NCT ID NCT07341074
Summary
This study is testing if starting therapy early can prevent common, lasting symptoms after a mild head injury. Adults who go to the emergency room within 24 hours of their injury will be randomly assigned to receive either physical/occupational therapy, phone-based education, or usual care. The goal is to see if these early, targeted treatments help people recover faster, return to work and daily activities, and improve their quality of life.
