Summary
This study is screening children and adolescents aged 1.5 to 18 years who have a parent or sibling with type 1 diabetes. Researchers will collect blood samples to look for early signs of the disease, such as specific autoantibodies, before symptoms appear. The goal is to identify pre-symptomatic type 1 diabetes and improve monitoring and data collection in Gulf countries.
