Could an early visit to a radiation doctor boost life quality for advanced cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT05351294

Summary

This study is testing if meeting with a radiation oncology specialist early in treatment, in addition to standard cancer care, improves patients' quality of life after six months. It will involve about 156 adults with cancer that has spread and is not curable, who are expected to live 6-24 months. The goal is to see if this early team approach better manages symptoms and reduces hospital visits compared to standard care alone.
