First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether the drug bimekizumab, given early in plaque psoriasis, can delay or prevent the disease from becoming a long-term condition. 40 adults with mild psoriasis (less than 6 months or more than 2 years) will receive either bimekizumab injections or a topical steroid cream. Researchers will compare skin clearance and quality of life over 24 weeks, with follow-up for up to 96 weeks.
