Summary
This study examines whether involving palliative care specialists early during unplanned hospitalizations helps patients with advanced cancer. It focuses on reducing aggressive treatments near the end of life and improving quality of life. The research will compare outcomes for nearly 500 patients across multiple hospitals in France.
