Can early comfort care ease the burden of blood cancer?

NCT ID NCT06485076

Summary

This study is testing if adding early palliative (comfort) care to standard cancer treatment improves well-being for patients with multiple myeloma or aggressive lymphoma. It will involve 144 patients, and some of their caregivers, who will be randomly assigned to receive either the extra support or usual care alone. The main goal is to see if this approach is practical and helps improve quality of life, mood, and symptom control for these patients.
