NCT ID NCT06644625
Summary
This study aims to find early signs of multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer, in people before they develop symptoms. Researchers will screen over 1,600 adults in the Charlotte area who are at higher risk, primarily focusing on Black/African American individuals and relatives of people with blood disorders. The goal is to see if early detection through blood tests can lead to earlier diagnosis and better long-term health outcomes for those who might develop the disease.
