Moving sooner after stroke may speed recovery and lift mood
NCT ID NCT05381220
Summary
This study tested whether starting a gentle movement program within 1-2 days after a stroke helps people recover better. It involved 102 stroke patients, comparing those who did the early movement activities to those who received standard care alone. The goal was to see if this approach improves people's ability to do daily tasks, reduces anxiety and depression, and boosts their overall quality of life.
