First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks for better ways to find lung inflammation early in people who have received a stem cell transplant from a donor. Researchers will use special CT scans, lung washes, and breathing tests before and for two years after the transplant. The goal is to see if these tests can detect lung problems sooner than usual. The study involves 40 people aged 5 to 70 who are already getting a transplant at the NIH.
