Summary
This study aimed to create a better tool for spotting kidney injury early in patients recovering from major heart surgery. Researchers followed 400 patients to combine blood tests and health data into a single score. The goal was to help doctors identify at-risk patients sooner so they could start treatments to protect the kidneys.
